Our Story

Star Signs was founded in 1979 in Lawrence, Kansas. What started as a small sign shop has grown into a regional and national leader in commercial signage and environmental graphics.

For over 45 years, we’ve designed, fabricated, and installed signage for sports arenas, airports, hospitals, schools, theaters, corporate campuses, and public spaces. Our client list includes Kansas City International Airport, Kauffman Stadium, the Gateway Arch National Park, and Louisiana State University.

Today, we operate from a 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Lawrence. Our team of 39 employees handles every phase of your project in-house, from initial design concepts through final installation.
